GearWax is a celebration of home record collections. The show features an eclectic mix of original 33-1/3rpm LPs, 45rpm and 78rpm records across genres and generations. GearWax engages listeners with mashups, cover songs and votes for listeners’ nostalgic choices on Discord. From dusty archives to thrift store finds to contemporary trends, GearWax invites listeners to join us as we delve into our large collection and explore a range of creative musical tastes and topics.
Many of these records are old and well-used, so there will be lots of scratches and occasional skips. We will embrace these analog artifacts with love and hope you will too!
